Patrycja Krajczyńska
A professional cartographer and designer, she combines technical precision with artistic sensitivity in her work. She graduated in Geodesy and Cartography from the Warsaw University of Technology. Although she spent many years professionally involved in the technical aspects of geodesy, her true passion has always been the creative side of world mapping.
Under the mapsbyp brand, Patrycja creates unique graphic designs in which she experiments with the style and presentation of geographic data. Her maps are more than just orientation aids – they are aesthetically refined posters designed to enliven interiors and evoke memories of hiking.
For Salamandra.com, she has designed, among other things, incredibly detailed and atmospheric maps of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland and the Czech Karkonosze Mountains. In her work, she strives to capture the character of each region, paying attention to every detail, from the terrain to the subtle color scheme. As she herself admits, cartography has become a way for her to combine her education with the need to create beautiful, original objects for nature and travel lovers.
